dude you have all that space in the kitchen and the main room at the entrance to your place. time to get rid of the art and stuff like that upstairs and move in the toys!

I feel your pain my brotha!!! I have half a bedroom to display at least a full room's worth of toys So I have bins in which I keep my duplicates, future customs, and seasonal items.
(IOW Ghostface and Michael Myers come out at Halloween) I don't have problems with figures like Mandarin Spawn (Tall, Narrow, my next step is to build tiers on my shelves) That will create a lot of room, allow them to all be seen, even though the shelf is crowded. It's figures like 'The Heap', Mutated Spawn 23' and Violator III that are the ones I sit there saying " what the eff am I gonna do with you??
Plus I just can't say no when a really cool 18" figure like Edward Scissorhands or the just released Aragorn from LotR come out. Not to mention that I just got some deals on some of the best 12" Star Wars figures I've always wanted.
I've come to the conclusion that my Star Wars ships MUST be hung up, along with the LoTR 'Fell Beast' with Ringwraith that I will never be able to pass up (See? sick) And as far as the rest,
I just have to rotate displays, painful as it is to put some great figures into bins with bubble wrap
I also have become more selective.
I passed on Monsters III because I had to make the choice of it or Spawn Reborn II..Spawn always wins out. My Spawn figures are the ones that NEVER get put away. No matter what, I have certain lines that will be faves forever. Spawn,
Music figures, Certain Movie figs (Crow, Edward etc..) Ditto for LoTR, Alien /Predator, and Star Wars . Those were my original passions in collecting and still are.(Well, LoTR became one the moment they hit the shelves) The rest..oh well, I find ways..

im running into the same problem in my display room. im going to have to start storing stuff in my storage basement which kind of sucks. ill never pay someone to store my stuff. because if i dont have it to look at than im not enjoying it so why buy it in the first place. if thats the case ill have the stores store if for me and i wont have to pay anything at all.

ran into that problem about a year ago....it sucks, i am paying 140 bucks monthly to hold my toys...problem now is my storage unit is full as well....good news is the wife and i are looking for a bigger home now so hopefully won't have to put up with it much longer...
btw if you do rent a unit ,check into the climate controlled ones and also make sure it is insured....

I am getting there with lightning speed even though I try to push as many figs I can on one shelf it will be though so Im guessing in a few months I will be out of room. I already packed down the turtles to get room for more Binaltechs and G1 figs.. and more spawns.. but hey its a fun problem
